The Center assists people with disabilities to enhance their skills to live independently, such as using public transportation, managing personal budgets, or improving daily living habits.

Information and Referral

The Center maintains comprehensive information files on available services and resources for people with disabilities.  Just a sampling of these are accessible housing, transportation, and employment opportunities.

Peer Counseling

The Center has a roster of persons with disabilities who can counsel others with similar disabilities to explore their options and learn to live independently.  Such as adjusting to a newly-acquired disability, experiencing changes in living arrangements, and learning to use community services.
