For persons with a disability who would like to meet others. The purpose of this group is to teach group independent living skills to persons with a disability who have recently moved out on their own. Some of the activities include learning self advocacy and cooking classes. Contact Linda at 810-664-9098 Parents and Caregivers of Children with a Disability Support Group meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 7 until 8:30 pm at Blue Water CIL. For more information contact Karen at 810-664-9098 Mid Eastern Michigan Thumb Area Chapter Muscular Dystrophy Association meets the 2nd Tuesday every other month from 6:30pm to 9. For more information contact Linda at 810-664-9098 Wednesday Afternoon Wonders the community bowling league meets each Wednesday except the first Wednesday of the month at Gerlachs Bowling Alley in Lapeer.
