- Have you given up or reduced activities such as family times or hobbies
becuase of using or recovering from use (hang overs)?
- Have you used even though you know it causes problems in your life either
physically or emotionally?
Three or more yes answers indicate a prognosis of dependence. If you
experience one of the following: Failure to fill role obligations (e.g.
parenting, work, partner), use in hazardous situations (drinking and driving
more than once), legal problems related to use, or continued use despite adverse
results, the prognosis would be abuse.
